Lush Haul ♥

I love Lush. I've always been intrigued every single time I walked past the wonderous smelling shop and it is only these past few months that I've started picking bits and bobs up from there, because my local Lush store only has select stock and I wanted to try/repurchase some more products, I made an order on Lush.co.ukFirst of all, the packaging and products are hella cute. Second of all, here are the things that I bought...

Lush Tea Tree Toner Water is my skin saviour. I got it on recommendation from Ingrid from missglamorazzi a good few months ago, but honestly it calmed down my acne prone and problem skin so much! I take a few pumps on a cotton pad and wipe it all over my face and my skin feels really lovely and smooth after using it :) it is such a great, inexpensive little product and over time it really helped clear up my skin I think. Also, tea tree is a product that works really well with my skin and I feel that natural products, like tea tree, really work with my skin and help combat acne.

£3.95 (100ml)

(I kept this product in the packaging, dunno why lel) Creamy Candy is a bubble bar from Lush and oh my life, it smells so freaking good! Quite similar to Snow Fairy shower gel, it has a gorgeous sweet and slightly floral scent and it has a vanilla scent to it to, I love it so much. I haven't tried this just yet, or any of them for a matter of fact but it is supposed to be super moisturising, turn your bath pink and make lots of bubbles so I can't wait.

£2.60

This is Mmmelting Marshmallow Moment (yes, three M's) and again, it smells gorgeous. It smells similar to Creamy Candy and Snow Fairy in the way that it is super sweet and it is supposed to be super moisturising and softening too which I'm excited for as my skin is lacking in that! It is a bath melt and honestly, I can't get over the smell of this and all the products I've ordered!

£3.95

This is the Think Pink bath bomb and I was drawn to this because it was described as having a vanilla-y scent which I absolutely love! I do think it smells a bit more floral but never the less, I can't wait to use it as demos of it look amazing! Because it is a bath bomb, it's super unique and this one is supposed to fizz around then turn your bath pink and leave confetti hearts... uh-mah-zing, right?

£2.50

Butterball bath bomb is a fresh smelling product which includes soothing and moisturising ingredients like cocoa butter and I like how it is supposed to be really calming too and reduce stress and relieve anxiety because of the ylang ylang oil in it. Again, I'm super excited to try it!

£2.50

Current Beauty Favourites ♥

Maybelline Baby Lips in Mint Fresh
Maybelline Baby Lips Electro in Berry Bomb
Benefit Hello Flawless Oxgyen Wow Foundation in Honey (Sample)
Benefit They're Real! Push-up Liner (Mini)
Benefit They're Real! Mascara
Primark Powder Foundation Brush

After receiving some fancyyy high end makeup for my birthday and going on a little Superdrug dash earlier this month, I have ended up with a few favourites to show you all!

First of all, my favourite lippies right now which are the Maybelline Baby Lips. I love the lip balms as I find them really moisturing on my lips and the tinted ones give a gorgeous wash of colour, I had a few of these before but these are the newest ones I've got and I lurve them! The Baby Lips in Mint Fresh is one of the un-tinted ones with a lovely strawberry scent (nah i jokes its mint, lel) and I slather this on for a night time lip balm.

I really really really love the Electro Baby Lips in Berry Bomb, I was after a purple lippie but I didn't want a crazy intense lipstick to start off so this was a great option. It's a gorgeous purple sheen on the lips, as you can see, and it comes off more pink in swatches and on the lips which is a bit more au natural. I like to re-apply this a few times throughout the day to get a more intense colour, too.

My next favourite is this Benefit foundation, the sample looks tiny but it actually has a lot of product in and I have two so this should last a while. This is a gorgeous dewy foundation with quite a light coverage, so I mix it with my Garnier Oily Skin BB Cream to get something a bit fuller (which I prefer to cover blemishes) and a better shade match. It makes my skin look so nice and glowy! I'm even considering getting the full size after my samples run out!

I've also been loving the They're Real! mascara and liner, the mascara makes my lashes look like natural falsies and it gives so much volume, length AND seperation.

The liner is the best that I've tried. This is a swatch of it next to the Electro lip balm and as you can see.. it is SO black, SO long-lasting and SO bloody amazing. It took me a little bit of time to get used to it but when you use it properly, you get amazing results! I also really like that the applicator prevents the product getting into your lashes as I struggle with that when I use liquid liners.

Finally, I have this Primark (yes, Primark) powder foundation brush which I have been loving to apply liquid foundations and powder.. it is literally only £1.50 and it is such an amazing quality brush! It applies foundation so beautifully and gives a gorgeous, airbrush finish and it is so soft too!

I really recommend Primark brushes for beginners as they really are great quality and value for money :)

Next blog posts you'll see from me with be a Lush haul and OOTD in sha Allah, but yeah I hope you've liked this one and see yaaar.

Rimmel London Wonder'Full Mascara Review

Iyaaaaa.
Today I'm back with my first review and its going to be my impressions on Rimmel London's new 'Wonder-full' mascara. This mascara hit the shops recently and the first thing that I noticed about it was that it is infused with Argan oil, which is a firm beauty favourite of mine and many others, it has great moisturising and conditioning properties so oil guess the idea is that it's supposed to do the same things to your lashes over time. I was quite sceptical about this mascara just because I've never got on with the Rimmell mascara's that I've tried before (like the original Scandaleyes and the Max Volume Lash, they just didn't do anything for me) and I always feel like they're over-sold, but I tried this mascara with an open mind...

First of all, the packaging of this mascara is BOOTIFUL. It's sleek, smooth and the coppery goldy kinda colour is really stunning and it just looks quite classy and expensive, it'd be a nice product to have displayed on your dressing table.

The actual brush on this mascara looked really promising, I love these comb-like brushes as they give a lot of volume and separation. Also, you may be able to see that the formula is on the wetter side which I love as it really clings to the lashes and makes it apply more generously I think.

This is two coats of the mascara and, as you can see, the actual mascara is bloody amazing. It really gives my lashes so much length, volume and seperation! It also looks really wispy and natural (more in person) and I am just blown away to be honest, I think this might be my new everyday mascara :) but take into consideration that my lashes are already pretty decent so the outcome will depend on your natural lashes. I also think that it applies really nicely on my bottom lashes and after wearing it for a few hours, it lasts really well too! I am in lurve.
Hoped y'all liked my first review and you appreciate my camera skills, it took a while to get some decent pictures... let me know what you want to see from my blog too and I'll be back soon
